Trope Dating - Terms and conditions

Welcome to TROPE ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application (the "App") and its related services. By creating an account or by using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on TROPE and use the App. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. As you will access TROPE via third-party services like Google or Apple, your account security is linked to the security of your Google or Apple account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use, or suspected unauthorized use, of your account or any other breach of security.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Post or transmit any content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Post or transmit any content that includes nudity, pornography, or is sexually explicit.

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

  • Engage in any form of spam, solicitation, or commercial activity, including promoting other websites or services.

  • Upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the App.

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

Failure to comply with these rules constitutes a material breach of these Terms.


4. Content Rights

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, publish, or display on the App, including your photos, "Quotes," and profile information ("Your Content"). You retain all of your ownership rights in Your Content.
However, by posting Your Content on the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute Your Content for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and promoting the TROPE service.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor the materials posted in the public areas of the App. We shall have the right to remove any such material that in our sole opinion violates, or is alleged to violate, the law or these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms.

6. Payments

The basic version of TROPE is currently free. We may introduce premium features or subscriptions in the future. Should we do so, we will provide you with clear and transparent information about the terms of payment at that time.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee and do not promise any specific results from the use of the App.

TROPE is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the App. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct criminal background checks on our users.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TROPE, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
